State SDPGA met our respected Health Secretary and our Head of the Directorates on 23/12/2016 and presented our 6th EC resolutions. The govt assured us to follow up our demands.
During our presentation of our 6th EC demands to the govt, we discussed many issues for the benefit of the public and welfare of the doctors.
Following are some of the issues represented:
- The second phase of the promotion counselling to be conducted immediately. The leftover posts during first phase should be filled.
- Professor refitment to be done at the earliest.
- CCS transfer and promotion counselling to be conducted immediately.
- Inter and intra directorates DME DMS & DPH transfer counselling to be conducted following the promotions.
- NEET UG & SS to be abolished. NEET PG: To continue the existing pattern of selection i.e quota system, service one mark for every year, 50% for service candidates.
- To take comprehensive measures to reduce female foeticide in Namakkal district.
- Cemonc centres to be posted with minimum of 7 OGs, 7 Anes &7 Peds to ensure quality care.
- All district GHs should have minimum of 3 Anes and one dr in all specialty.
- National medical commission to be opposed. Existing MCI is to be reformed. Exit test proposed by central govt for outgoing MBBS students to be opposed.
- To include those who completed MBBS in 2016 and waiting for registration number in the forthcoming MRB recruitment.
