Information we collect
- Identity and contact details such as name, email address, phone number, designation, location, registration or licence number, and membership ID.
- Membership details, including plan, status, joining date, validity period, and association history.
- Account and security data needed to authenticate you and protect the service.
- Information you submit for dues, donations, events, grievances, feedback, and membership requests, including files you choose to upload.
- Device and notification identifiers needed to deliver push notifications, plus limited diagnostics used to maintain reliability and security.
How we use information
We use personal data to operate membership services, authenticate accounts, maintain membership records, process and verify submissions, communicate association notices, provide support, prevent misuse, and meet applicable legal or accounting obligations.
Sharing and sale of data
SDPGA does not sell personal data. We share only what is necessary with service providers that help us host the service, store files, send email or push notifications, and diagnose failures. We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect members and the association.
Retention and deletion
We keep information only while it is needed for the purposes above. A signed-in member can permanently delete their account from the Profile screen. If you cannot sign in, follow the account-deletion instructions. Account deletion removes the login, profile, member-owned submissions, notification data, and uploaded files, except information that SDPGA must retain to comply with law, resolve disputes, or prevent fraud.
Security
We use encrypted network connections, access controls, restricted administrative permissions, and other reasonable safeguards. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, so please use a strong, unique password and report suspected account misuse promptly.
Your choices and rights
You may review and update profile information in the app, control notification permissions in your device settings, and request access, correction, or deletion by contacting us. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
Children
The SDPGA member service is intended for medical professionals and is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly create accounts for children.
Changes and contact
